The best MCPs for building and editing websites

“Website MCP” covers very different products. Webflow and Wix give an assistant access to a site you already run on their platforms. HubSpot can publish pages in its CMS. Dance’s AI Website Builder rebuilds a small-business site from the one you have and handles publishing and domain connection after purchase.

The first question is where your site lives today. The second is whether you want designer-level control or a finished result.

Builds from your existing site, free to preview, plain-language changes, one-time price to keep it. Doesn’t sell domains or build from a blank description; for hands-on design control, Webflow is the stronger choice.

How to choose

Stay where your site lives

Moving platforms is the most expensive decision in this category. If you’re happy on Webflow or Wix, use their server. Consider a rebuild only if the current site is the problem.

Check what “publish” means

Some servers publish on your behalf; others save drafts. Dance publishes only a bought site and only the version you approved. HubSpot can publish CMS pages directly. Read the write-access notes on each profile.

Domains are separate

None of the servers we reviewed documents domain purchasing. Dance connects a domain you already own and gives you the DNS records.
